Abstract

This article assesses the development trends of small business and private entrepreneurship in Uzbekistan over the past 30 years. It examines government support measures for the sector's development and the positive changes that have resulted. It also analyzes how administrative intervention in the economy undermines the normal functioning of market mechanisms and the effectiveness of economic reforms.
